ENABLE US is all about providing a new platform within the University of Sheffield performance venues for creative exprression, exploration, development and debate, with public engagement and student experience as two of its cornerstones.
2Magpies Theatre return to Sheffield as part of a national tour with ‘Ventoux’, which played to sell out audiences at the Crucible Studio. The show is a restaging of the dramatic battle between Lance Armstrong and Marco Pantani on the slopes of the mountain from which the show takes its name, bringing the excitement of the Tour De France to the theatre.
Manchester’s Hope Theatre bring us Gypsy Queen, directed by Adam Zane, a production that challenges us with themes of conflicts of identity, conflict, masculinity and love.
There’s also some really sweet stuff for the littler ones. ‘Aleena’s Garden’ is a sensory adventure for 0-3 year olds and their grown
ups, a show that will delight you as much as them.
There’s pretty much something of everything and the best bit is that you can buy a ticket for the price of a pizza. We very much hope that you’ll be able to join us.
