Yorkshire Silent Film Festival presents Tall Tales and Incredible Journeys: the fantasy cinema of Georges Melies and Segundo de Chomon
Take a journey into the impossible with this selection of short fantasy films from the earliest days of cinema. Full of ingenious effects and beautiful, hand-drawn colours, these tales of flying cars, rockets to the sun and magical goings on are as astounding today as they must have been more than a century ago. Includes Georges Melies' famous 1902 adventure A Trip to the Moon.
